Phu Quoc - Land of the stars and the squeaky sand!

Arrived here on Sunday. It's amazing...our own paradise. We are living in a lovely beach bungalow (see pic above) with an amazing view of the beach! The island is touristy but not as bad as we expected it to be. It's pretty much a desert island with not alot to do. Its great. I love it. Theres a few bars and resturants along the beach and we have already befriended the locals at these places.

The first week here has been well needed. Lots of relaxing and early nights, (Abbie and Danielle are too old for anything else it seems lol!) We've been typical tourists and done the one day snorkelling and fishing trip that they try to sell us everywhere we go. I even managed to catch 7 fish - check me out! We've all gone a bit motorbike crazy, there so much fun. Abbie wasn't5 too keen at first but i think she's been convertored now! I've been Scuba diving. The scuba divers have tried to persuade me to stay and train as a 'dive master' and then work for them. Also they need a English teacher on the island so me and Danielle could be stuck here forever, ha ha!!
